Inside the Lighthouse

Son and I enjoyed a walk up to the Lighthouse today ….
It’s been quite a while since he’s walked this route

Years gone by, the actual Lighthouse wasn’t open to the public…
. the youngsters used to climb over the fence ( he tells me, now!)
So today, was a first… for him!
We went inside to see the photos and artifacts that belonged to generations of Lighthouse keepers, and their families
Like all other Lighthouses today…
the light is automatic…
And the lighthouses are not ‘manned’
