feel almost embarrassed by the fact ive never heard of Paul Kelly, Austrailias answer to Bob Dylan, my god does he sound like him , abiet with a real ozzie twwwwwwwang.. very understated man .. very economical with words,, when you have two guitars on stage with no other accompaniment , and no breaks in between the songs.. its sounds a bit samey...it was like getting tortured in a very pleasant way..after a little while i found i got very very relaxed....snoozeville...please stop so i can wake up...musical anesthesia....pretty cool tonite.. got to be upstairs all by myself taking pix..only me and the support act,,lornie fergusson...so that was my first experience of live folk music...would i see him again.. oh yes ..of course i would...
The rest of the day was just as brill.. spent the day down at Fort Nelson with ali and the girls .. what a place,, and free.. well worth a visit.. do it .. !!!! you know you want to.. !!
Visited our friend Claudine this afternoon... so nice to see her, a nicer person i guarantee you , you will not meet..she makes ya average nun seem like a terminal sinner...
anyway .. already edited the pix from tonites gig and they are duly posted..i gonner hit the hay after whats been a truly satisfying packed day
