A surprise.

Today it is sunny and warm if you are in the sun, but there is a chill wind if you are not.  I was in Cockermouth.  This is a photo of a man wearing clogs.  A Blip friend had a photo of someone wearing clogs and I told them about this man who was always wearing them, but I hadn't seen him for ages.  He hasn't died, he is alive and I asked him if I can take a photo of his clogs.  He was pleased to oblige and said I was the third person to ask the same question.  Not only did he say yes he gave me these 'sole protectors' and it is these that make the noise.  He even looked for an example of a nail to attach them to the sole, but he didn't have one.  I can't say it made his day, someone taking an interest, but it made mine.
