Voyage to Antarctica

This is the title of a spectacular exhibition currently showing under the auspices of Fifespace & Fotospace Galleries at The Lochgelly Centre here in Fife.
The Artist is local schoolteacher, Robert Ward, whose fascination with Scott's Antarctic Expedition led to him producing drawings of ships and seascapes winning for him an award which enabled him to finance a visit to Antarctica.
The exhibition presents his vision through pencil drawing, photographs and stunning sculptural artefacts.
The blip shows an appropriate piece of clothing manufactured by Robert as tribute to the brave explorers.
