The Urban Environment

I was lucky enough to attend the Regional Print Centre annual printmaking symposium today by webinar. The topic for the meeting was The Urban Environment. There were four presenters: Jemma Gunning, Sumi Perera, Gail Brodholt and Maxine Foster. Each talk took a different aspect of the built environment and all the presenters were engaging and  interesting. However, it was Jemma Gunning's presentation -  https://www.jemmagunning.com/gallery - that really blew me away. Her work focuses on derelict industrial buildings which she explores in monochrome through various printmaking techniques. Fantastic. My photograph is an homage to these excellent artists.
