Dark Day

It's a dark day for the whole World when one country invades another without  provocation. 

By pure chance we went to see Leopoldstadt (https://leopoldstadtplay.com/#about) last night as a screening from the National Theatre. The play deals with the life and times of an Austrian, Jewish family starting in 1899, then the period after WWI, 1938 and the annexation of Austria by Germany and eventually a meeting in 1955. There were so many resonances with what is happening today. A brilliant script, a brilliant performance, a brilliant production but ultimately chilling.
