The Lightbox
This morning I had a meet up with my writing group - only the second time ever; usually we usually meet on Zoom. We had an exuberant two and half hours at the Lightbox cafe in Woking. It is central for all of us and a convivial meeting space. I usually have a look at the art when I visit the Lightbox but today I had to hurry off for an appointment at the hairdressers. Currently there is a Bridget Riley exhibition on and there was one of her works on display in the cafe. At the risk of being a philistine I feel that once you've seen one of her works you've seen them all. The extra is of a curious sculpture that was lurking outside.
