Progression

Today 's date may be a palindrome and an ambigram, but to many millions of former guides and scouts, it will always beThinking Day.
My blip of badges shows my progression through the movement from Brownies, there were no rainbows in those days! There's also my Queen's Guide and first class badges.
I spent many hours over the years polishing my badges with duraglit and brasso and on Thinking Day and special occasions, polishing my subs pennies too - which we would then place in a long chain of glittering coppers. For those interested I've discovered that silver dip is a much easier option!
Wild and windy weather again today, so we went to the parish church for soup - lentil today. After lunch, Ali and I went for a quick sortie to the charity shops with Josie but failed to find any bargains today.
We have bridge this evening which we'll work around mum.
I hear Scottish regulations will last till 21st March. That's slightly better than ending this week. I do hope it's not a big mistake
Stay safe folks.
