Snowdrops

This morning four of us went to Alnwick to run The Pastures parkrun. It was a fairly flat course on rough grass by the river but a very strong headwind slowed progress for about a third of the course. Nevertheless we managed to get 2nd place and 2x over 60's (an dover 65's). On the way back they dropped me off slightly short of the house so I could make up the distance to finish the virtual ultra I've been doing.
After lunch we all went to Howick Hall and walked the snowdrop route, and some extras - there were millions and millions of snowdrops.
This evening we went to the local pub for an excellent meal, most had seafood of some sort.
In between was game playing and now we're all very quiet - wonder why?
