POMEGRANATE

Many of the old gardens in the town have a hedge of pomegranate and quince. It is an attractive feature colourful fruit in Summer and lovely pink and brick red blossoms in Spring. Inspite of it being a haven for fruit fly we do get enough fruit to share and to bottle. Hope to make a quince tart for book club on Thursday.
