ART CLASSES 2013

As I expected the first art class of the year was attended with great enthusiasm. Obviously the children have missed the art in the hot months.
I always ask them to do a pictureof themselves the first session of the year. They started off with charcoal drawings and then filled in the clothing with cut outs from magazines finishing the pictures off with chalk.
Rivaldo went one step further and used tinfoil that he found in one of the magazines to give himself silver teeth. I took a photo of him smiling broadly but chose this image for my blip as it shows the group absorbed in their creativity.
