A Family prayer.

The Feast Day of St. Mel. An Irish Saint.
The housework occupied some of the morning, then prayers and online Holy Mass.
The paper and card recycling was collected and I brought the empty bin back to where it stays near our garden gate. Yesterday the wind was so powerful, it broke the lid on the blue recycling bin which is for glass and plastic. There are sharp edges on it now, which looks like a safety hazard, so we shall have to see if the Council can send out a replacement.
I have been snacking more than is wise, so inspite of the cold rainy weather, dressed for wind and rain, I went out and did a 30 minute walk in our neighbourhood, to try and get my weight back to what is about 4 pounds less. I enjoy walking and saw the hens together in their pen.
