Watch Your Step

Sunny and breezy with a high of 35 deg F and anticipated low of 24 deg F. We slept in a bit since we had no commitments whatsoever. We got word early that Brooklyn’s soccer was canceled - thank goodness because it was below freezing! It was a typical Saturday, housecleaning, one load of laundry and feeding the birds. Hubby has a list of strengthening exercises he must do for a few months. I made chicken salad for lunch. We read and enjoyed being inside since it was nasty outside. I remembered seeing these fungi not long ago in the forest behind our home. In the warmer months, I stay well away from any potential snake hiding spots. We picked up Parker for 5:00 pm Mass since his parents are out of town. His mom left us lasagna for dinner. Here’s to another quiet night because tomorrow will be busy. Only 82 new COVID cases today.
