(Another) New Ride

Hubby had to be at the parish hall early to help with the Knights’ breakfast. He was out the door by 6:30 am. Our weather was better today, hi of 56°F (13.3°C). Our low tonight will be above freezing. I puttered around until he brought my breakfast around 11:00. We soon set out to Brooklyn’s game. Her team won 45-12; she played well defensively and scored twice. We met Chris and Chase in the grocery store parking lot to get this shot. They had food Kristen needed to cook for their 4:00 dinner with guests; it was 3:30 so I had to rush. We are happy with their choice of car for Chase. This is a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek, an unfamiliar model for me. It is a safe and reliable brand; scored very high in the most important categories. Sky will use it at college during snowy months (has all wheel drive) in the mountains. Chase will take her Mustang those months as part of the swap. My grands are growing up too fast. All but 3 of the 10 are driving! We were planning to be home for the evening but Kristen just invited us to dinner. Darn the luck. Sure hope you had a pleasant weekend. Be safe.
