Christmas Ham

Alarm woke me 7.15….. as I was working this morning, still not a fan of Fri morning working, find it hard to get going. Going to review my working pattern shortly in any case.

Really really busy too as my boss had left me loads of stuff to action, she was off today……. just about got through everything, worked an extra half hour though.

Still feeling a bit rubbish emotionally…….no tears, just flat & empty. spoke to youngest, hes been offered the job he was interviewed for earlier in the week, he really wanted it, so am well chuffed for him. His wife is still struggling, she has Bells Palsy again, much more painful this time, so she wont be joining us tomorrow for Christmas Day dinner, at the third attempt! Daughters partner has offered to go and collect youngest as obviously he cant get there alone.

Hence todays blip…. spent this evening making stuffing, prepping veg, part cooked white cabbage, onions and sage, all just needs finishing off in the oven, once Im round to daughters house by midday tomorrow, dinner for 8 between 1&2.

Ive watched our FA Cup match v Middlesbrough, extra time & penalties, we played so well initially, but so many missed chances, made to pay for it in the end!
A certain blipper, Riversider will be a very happy bunny tonight….. well played J ;-)
