Castle across the road

View of Carlisle Castle (currently undergoing some refurbishment) taken from the 'Lookout' in Tullie House. Such a shame that the ring road below divides Carlisle from its Castle - what were they thinking!!

I was amused by the extra, which is just outside Tullie House Museum. When you pay to enter (we get in free with our Art Pass) you get a sticker to wear. So what to do with the sticker when you emerge? It only needs a few to do it and everyone else follows. I suppose it is better than dropping it on the floor. The staff are amused by how high up some of them are and wonder how they got up there.
