Good friends

Day 2 of the weekend on Bute.
A very enjoyable, relaxing day spent with walkingwummin, A and J.
After breakfast at the Ettrick Bay tearoom we headed to Mount Stuart, the seat of the Stuarts of Bute.
A beautiful Victorian Gothic House. The interior was of images mythology, religion and astrology, vast amount of marble and amazing wood carvings. The wee tour guide was good, funny. My favourite part, the beautiful ceilings , the acres of landscape gardens and woodlands.
Best part of the weekend? So difficult to choose. But it has to be the great company, the paddle in the freezing water as Nira played around-loved it.
