St Blanes isle of Bute

Spending the weekend on the Isle of Bute with friends. Had a fantastic day.
The sun was shinning, fantastic scenery and great company.
Went a walk up to St Blanes, a 12th century chapel set within a Christian monastery. Very peaceful, very calming with a slight sound of wind chimes in the air. The views where beautiful, breathtaking.
We then carried on to Ettrick Bay for a bit of paddling. (Nira stealing the socks)Whose bright idea was that??? Very refreshing to say the least, but great fun.
The local pub was calling on us for an alcoholic beverage before heading to dinner followed by a few more alcoholic refreshments and a good auld blether into the wee small hours.
