Up the empire!

Oh my! Go to the British Museum and on the one hand you’ll marvel at all the wonderful artefacts from countries all round the globe. And on the other hand you’ll worry as to why those artefacts are here and not still in those countries! Blip is looking up inside the museum - it’s a fantastic piece of architecture combining old and new.

I went there for the Hokusai exhibition which was very interesting. He was clearly a talented artist and illustrator. Loved seeing ‘the great wave ‘ up close in real life. Took lots of pics and was fun being there all by myself with no one to accommodate! Loved the buzz of London on the way there and back to the hotel. Amazing shops, cafes, bars!

Went to a Peruvian-Asian Restaurant (!) at night and spent a princely sum on a lovely meal with the hubster. It’s an early start to get home but so worth it! I love London :)
