Home again

Spent the day in the car pretty much! First it was the drive from central London south to Croydon to drop off some boxes. Then we set the SatNav for home, some 400 miles away.

Wasn’t a difficult drive, dry all the way and the sun even came out. Took this pic when the motorway got jammed up and we detoured off on some rural roads. The English St George flag on top of the village church caught my eye.

I did find it a bit scary driving next to so many lorries and trucks, realised how long it’s been since I did a trip like this.

Nice to be home safely tonight and to catch up with the family. Daisy dog will be back tomorrow so lots to look forward to…
