Old and new

Tom, his son Richard and one of their workmen were round at 8am to get cracking with the slabs on the back path. This shows the bit done. It’s going to be so much tidier and safer than the crumbling and full-of-holes concrete.

It was so windy and cold today I stayed in and worked on my new cook book. It’s all a bit of a muddle just now till I decide on the layout of each page. The Blurb recipe layout doesn’t always work for what I want so I’m working round that. I think it’s more interesting to read not having all the pages the same. I also like to personalise things by having some photos of people enjoying my food and some of those who have shared their recipes with me. It’ll be a work in progress for some time!
