Hello sunshine!

Hurrah! A sunny afternoon. It wasn't possible to stay home on the only sunny afternoon since I don't know when, so I spent an hour wandering nearby lanes. What is it about five bar field gates shrouded in overgrown greenery that are so intriguing, enticing, mysterious.... why do they rouse our curiosity? No wonder it has a Private No entry sign cos I'm sure I'm not the first who otherwise would go exploring on this typical nippy January day - the kind where you need both woolly hat and sunglasses! I do like that such scene's are only a short walk away from the house and yet Chelmsford High St is also only a ten minutes drive away. Living here is easy. 

In other news, niece and nephew No 1 came for dinner this evening, along with bro. Made a very pleasant evening as I don't see them very much even if they are just a stone's throw away.
