The beach

Again, no wind, rather overcast but pleasant enough. 
Went to Roosebeck beach. The tide was coming in but wasnt a problem as it comes in 'sideways' ie it reaches the foreshore at the eastern end of the beach first. We were able to walk to almost the spot we usually walk before turning round . 
The tide comes in incredibly swiftly till it reaches the foreshore which slopes up so that slows it down. As there wasnt any wind the waves were tiny and we were lulled by the gentle lap lap of water.. so relaxing.

We were able to take our time walking back as it wasnt going to be too high a tide. We had the place too ourselves. Nice. 

Extra shows some rather distant oyster catchers . I kept hoping theyd fly nearer but that was as close as I could get.
