Ray of light

I wasn't thinking of Madonna when I took this image. I was enjoying the sunshine on my skin, and the weirdness of clear light and warm air. It was very disorientating, and also so familiar. It got me thinking about hibernation, and the transition back into life, from dark, sleepy places.

So we trundled around Abergavenny today, blinking in the bright sunshine. I really want to get a decent camera, as I am finding my old i phone restricting when wanting to zoom in on specific images.

The bathroom is painted simple, endless white - the bright pink floral wall paper long gone :-)

The cats have basked in the sun; we have had a beer in the sun; and the day still ends by the woodburner. A good saturday!
