Nearly there
Went to the Forest of Dean for a mountain bike ride with Better half as a treat for finishing the preparation of the walls to be painted in the bathroom. It was quite odd flat light today, which was annoying, as we had been spoilt for sunshine yesterday. It was really good for the soul to get out of breath chasing up the hills, and I loved spotting the odd bit of green shoot trying to make a start for a late spring.
Whilst bombing about the trails I have to confess I was ruminating about an issue with my lodger, who has so far refused to move out despite my best polite requests (I have discovered I am an anti social woman who gives her social best at work, and then is rather choosy about who gets to share her space in her own time....)
Anyway, I was feeling somewhat moody at the time of taking this image, and was wondering what my next step was, so decided to sublimate my annoyance into image capturing.
Sitting down at the end of a good easter bank holiday, eating a very fragrant curry made from all that was left in the fridge, with a good glass of NZ sauvignon blanc, and my husband, before leaving Wales to return to work in Bristol. Result! my lodger comes good - keys for new place, and out by the end of the week. I can be grumpy in my own space again!
