Spring skylark

A good trudge up the sugar loaf, and I was rewarded by a visitation from a skylark - actually saw quite a few on the way down too. It was wonderful to get out for a few hours, and I now have that lovely rosy cheek feeling from all the fresh air. Whilst there was tiger striped snow on top of the hill, there were lambs gamboling, and lots of buds on the trees. Perhaps spring is inally coming through....
