No sleep time

After yesterday's non eventful day, when we spent most of it hanging around for Mr Trades-person (who never appeared)................... today Ann said that we would make the most of the good weather and go out.

For my 'first thing in the morning walk' we trekked around St Ives looking for the sunrise. We found it in the harbour (see extras) after I'd had a play on Porthmeor Beach and then climbed to the top of the 'Island' (in this Blip).

By the time I'd had my breakfast Mr Sunshine was shining brightly and Ann really wanted to sit on our sunny sun terrace and read trashy magazines so off we went to Falmouth for a big long walk. I don't think I've ever been to Falmouth before, but we had a fabulous walk and the sun was shining for all of it. Check out how sunny it was on Gyllyngvase Beach (see extras) and there were loads of people swimming in the sea. We walked for more than 5 miles and just before we got back to the car we sat down in Maritime Square for a rest and Ann ate some chips. …........And she didn't share?!!! Booohoooo...........

We got home at about 3.30pm and I got taken into the field for a wee so I thought that I'd be in for the rest of the day. But oh no I wasn't. I'd just settled down in my bed for a snooze when Ann said, 'Trixie, would you like to go to the beach to look for the sunset?' So that is what we did.  We didn't actually find the sunset but the sky above the beach looked amazing. (See extras).

…..............So that's been our day. Obviously loads better than yesterday. I'm completely flaked out now so am dictating this Blip to Ann telepathically. I haven't even eaten my dinner, but I know that Ann is just about to cook some chicken. And when she cooks chicken I always get some. Yum. Apparently she's going to time it for 8pm so she can eat it while she's watching 'Call the Midwife'.

Haven't I had a lovely day?..................... Three fabulous walks, a couple of hours snooze time and then some proper chicken for dinner. What more could a little collie pup want????????????????
