Raspberry frame

It took me 4 months to complete my raspberry frame and I feel pretty smug that both posts were made out of 'free' timber (salvaged from skips over the years or already on the plot).

The job involved a few steps:
- Finding bits of wood that were roughly the same size
- Sawing them
- Working out measurements (a friend's raspberry bed provided some inspiration!)
- Drilling and fixing screws
- Digging the posts in (2 spades deep to make sure they didn't move or fall off!)

I'll wait until the spring to attach the wires to allow for slight movement until the posts are firmly 'concreted in' with the help of my clay soil!

It looks good and I'm feeling very satisfied with a job well done - not to mention the 12 raspberry plants in the row, which I can't wait to see start growing in their new location next month or so...
