Last pumpkin!

Today's a sad day: I've just cut the last pumpkin (this one's the only 'Musque de Provence' pumpkin I got from 3 plants - all the others perished due to slugs/deers/squirrels/bad weather).

It looks satisfyingly orange so it might taste nice. It's the first year I've tried growing this cultivar.

Every year when I eat my last pumpkin, I take comfort in knowing that the end of pumpkin harvest means another fast approaching growing season. And that can only be a good thing!
