Mr Pheasant

Yes, he does look rather magnificent - and I totally love his feather-sense and colour coordination - but I have to tell you that Mr Pheasant's behaviour has been a bit out of order recently.

I know he would deny it strongly but I now have irrefutable evidence that it's him that has been digging up the snowdrop bulbs under the magnolia tree.  And just look at him in this shot.  He has blatantly crossed the great divide between where he's allowed to be and where he isn't.  He is on his way down through the rockery towards the house - standing in the middle of the lavenders as if he didn't give a jot.

Without a shadow of a doubt, it's all going to end in tears  .......................
