Today's the day ....................... to be beside the sea

A lovely day today, full of light, perfect to go for a Sunday afternoon walk along the Solway Coast from Carrick.

This is looking northwards towards Gatehouse of Fleet and on to the uplands of the Galloway Forest Park.  There were a few people out walking dogs and families on the beach getting rid of pent-up energy - but lots of space all to ourselves.

That's the way we like it ......................
