In the morning I went to the hospital picking up a few things on the way for Mum. Mum was pleased to see me and we spent 5 hours together. Mum had a visit from the hospital chaplain which raised her spirits. They had a bit of a laugh together and he said a prayer.
My GP phoned , and prescribed antibiotics and steroids for my chest infection.
In the afternoon my partner and I went for a walk by The Whitesands, where I took this selfie. We thought it looked a bit like a moody album cover . Ha ha .

I was treated to a delicious vegetarian enchiladas with salad for supper made by A.
I then went back to the hospital and spent another few hours with Mum. She has a small pleural effusion as well as pneumonia, and is now on oxygen therapy and IV antibiotics. She’s feeling rotten. We watched the impossible ‘’ Only Connect’’ and then University Challenge- I managed to get a couple right - including identifying a sculpture by Miro.
