Good news is that Mum is able to use her mobile phone … so we can phone her in hospital. Mum had not had a particularly good night . But she was pleased with the attention she was getting from the nursing staff . They were kind and helpful.

I stayed at home most of the day . I contacted the minister from her church, and had a lovely chat with him. He and his team will visit Mum and pray from her.
In the evening I picked up some things from Mums flat and went up to see her. Her spirits have improved from yesterday and I met some of the nice nurses that were caring for her. Mum is on 2 different antibiotics to treat the pneumonia. She’s now eating and drinking again which is a relief and also she’s back reading again. So these are good signs.
My own chest infection is not improving as I’d like . So I might have to see the Dr myself !
