Party, Party, Party!

It is the season. Here Oscar and Bailee are enjoying their party tea. Today we celebrated their good friends Amber, Adam and Tara's birthdays at The Little Gym. We all had such fun at at the same time the twins burnt off a lot of energy using the gym equipment. We went there for a trial 6 months ago and I am astounded at how much more confident Bailee and Oscar are now. Their gross motor skills have improved markedly.

They loved everything about the party: The venue, children, cake and party bags. Oscar especially loved the icing on the Pirate/Mermaid themed cake and after devouring his first piece, proceeded to go and take a bite out of the whole cake.... We moved him away, relieved to see that the bite he had taken was only small. In the next moment, he grabbed a handful, leaving a chunk out of the cake :-/ Oh dear. Luckily, the candles had already been blown out and everyone had already been served their cake. We had to have a bit of a stern talk to Oscar about the incident... The joys of seeing things through the eyes of your soon to be 3-year-olds.

We cannot believe Bailee and Oscar themselves will be three on Thursday.
