Back to work
I used to enjoy the return to work after Christmas. Ten days of pottering around and eating, generally when the weather wasn’t great, and I was happy to get back to work. This year however I didn’t feel any of that - after nine months of retirement i am still loving it!!
I had a couple of friends visiting for coffee. Friend from Gib home for Christmas - unfortunately she got Covid and her return to UK was not as planned. However better now and thankfully we didn’t talk about the C word too much. We are planning on visiting in the Spring although they have moved apartments and in a different part of town, but it will be nice to get some spring sunshine. May even catch up with ex bos!?
After they had gone OH and I took down the decorations and cleared up - it took much less time to take down than to put up! I did lots more paperwork and got a lot of ticks on my list then had swordfish purchased yesterday for dinner.
Picture is screen shot from my investigations into a new hobby. I am contemplating a pottery course? Although I have cupboards full of tapestry and cross stitch not used/needed, will it be the same with pottery?
