St. Marks

Today I had to go into town to collect a piece of underpaid post. I cannot understand why it was underpaid. It said on the postage label that it was a Large Letter, and it looked to be at the smaller end if the category - weight-wise at least. It may be a mm or two wider. 

I did a bit of shopping whilst in town - I bought books, hot choccie bombs and a couple of other random things. I also looked for other things I need to get but could not find. Town is not what it used to be a few years ago shopping-wise. It's a vicious circle - the more people shop online the worse town becomes. The worse town becomes, the more people will resort to shopping online!

This is the St Marks shopping area. Many of its shops are now empty unfortunately. There is a new shop/cafe that has just opened. It stocks things from local small traders mainly and has some lovely things for sale. It is very expensive though so I don't know if it will last. I hope it does!
