Arthur's Seat

A mild and breezy day, but it is quite sunny. A quick trip to the park to get the weekly time lapse photo of the park, Extra 1,as well as a shot of trees in the wood, Extra 2. It has been very breezy overnight, and there are a few large branches down.

The main New Year's Day walk is over the Braid Hills and back via the Mortonhall Path. Despite strong gusts of wind, I managed to take a photo of Arthur's Seat and Craigmillar Castle, Extra 3.

A lovely buffet tea washed down with the Buck's fizz that we should have had on Christmas Day.
