Wind

The wind starting blowing like a hurricane during the night and about 5am it was roaring. Not much rain though and we did not lose power. The dog was not happy and just about sat on me to let me know something was happening. So we got up. I opened the front door and there across the driveway was our big Holly tree.

The wind finally died down around 10am so Jerry got out the chain saw to start limbing it up. I pulled the limbs to our briar patch that we have for the birds to nest or keep warm in the winter if it ever gets cold. It took us about an hour and a half to get the work done.

Not exactly how I wanted to spend Monday morning. The wind also brought the cold weather which is okay with me. My son in North Carolina had 8 inches of snow from this same storm. 2022 is starting out with a bang!
