Au revoir

Our youngest headed home this afternoon on the Cotswold Flyer to Paddington. A Covid outbreak within his very close social group meant his stay with us was much longer than planned. It’s been great having him at home again and he’s more than earned his keep!

This morning in the dazzling sunshine he helped me take the rest of the cardboard boxes from our move to be recycled…into more cardboard boxes. Because they are branded by an Edinburgh removal company nobody else wants to reuse them! What happened to all those tea chests we used to use?!

A quiet house here tonight after all our family festive season visitors.
