SATURDAY - New Year's Day

Many thanks for all the stars, hearts and kind comments on yesterday's blip of Harriet at work.

Today I went out for a 7.5 km run down the steep hillside through North Dean Woods, along the canal to Salterhebble Basin, along the road to Clay House and an uphill 2 km slog back home. Not a particularly fast time of 46:10 but I was slowed down by a strong headwind on the homeward leg.

Porridge with clotted cream, blueberry conserve and a dram of single malt Glenmorangie with freshly ground coffee and toast was very welcome.
