Lake Lure Vacation: Day 3 …

… Exploring Lake Lure Flowering Bridge and beyond.

What a fabulous day we had!  The sun was shining and it was pleasantly warm.  Perfect weather for visiting the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge … one of our favorite places here.

During the day we encountered not one … not two … but three different wedding parties! I’ve included one such bride and groom in the Extra #2 and one of the other’s in Extra #1 … lower right photo.  This second one was such a casual wedding with the bride in a short plaid skirt and backpack!

There was so much to photograph today! And we did so much … but mostly our time was spent at the Flowering Bridge and Morse Park that’s nearby.

And as always we went down to the lake after supper to watch the sunset.  That’s when we saw the third wedding party … not pictured here.
Tomorrow could be more of the same … but maybe not.  Stay tuned.
