Life's a Beach part 3965400

A much better night last night meant we were relatively up and at 'em.

We were only 45 minutes late for our 10 o'clock appointment at Gylly Beach Cafe. But the friends I was meant to be meeting had given up and gone. But we did see Christine so that made up for it...

We were good for our second meeting though - a 'play date' with Lily's classmate Callum and his Mum Elaine at Swanpool. We got there at 11.30 and set up camp on the most sheltered bit - just as well as we stayed until after 3! The children played together beautifully (except Bella who moped in the tent with her book) and I'm fairly certain they enjoyed themselves. I too had a very very pleasant afternoon and think I have a new friend too :-D

Home for homemade spicy bean burgers which went down very badly with all 4 children. Even with their post beach appetites. Then the Wednesday Tidy Up as Moira comes in the school holidays too - I'm hoping she'll be slightly later than her scheduled 8.30am :-0
