Paradise Park

We had been invited to Paradise Park over at Hayle by the Falmouth childminders a few weeks ago. I have taken the kids a few times but this was Ben's first trip. So we all got up and ready and over there for 10.00am. In the holidays!

When we arrived I was delighted to find my friend Nicky with her 2.5 day old baby Charlie. Oh goodness he is gorgeous. Once I had wrestled him from Bella and Lily, I had lots of lovely lovely cuddles with him.

We did all the other stuff too - fed the penguins, fed the lorikeets, watched the otters, played on the death slides and so on and so forth. And the sun shone the entire time!

On the way home, the children asked if we could continue our "family day" with film night. So we did chicken curry in a hurry, put Red to bed and settled down for Nanny McPhee and popcorn. The children chose the film as Ben has never seen it.

They are all now in bed, the ironing is done, Eastenders is watched and Holby is loaded up ready to go - now where's that glass of wine?
