A Few of My Favorite…

Christmas ornaments. Overcast with rain off and on. High was 54 deg F but it will dip below freezing tonight. I slept in way too late this morning but I just felt tired from coughing. I could not find a streamed Mass to watch but I wasn’t taking this infection to our parishioners. Once we got going,
we made great progress. In hindsight, I spent most of the time going up and down stairs to retrieve decorations or return wrapping materials/empty boxes to storage. Am surprised it was only 7,000 steps. Hubby went to Parker’s basketball game and then shopped. His team won 34-16 and Jamie rotated his best players out a lot to keep the score reasonable. He’s a good coach even if I am a bit biased. Hubby brought the wrong tree downstairs and I got out the wrong box of ornaments. We decided to simply put the living room tree and it’s ornaments in the Rec room. The kids will enjoy a change. I’ll finish the tree tomorrow, put the gifts around it and blip the finished product. As for today’s collage, every tree needs to symbolize your love with a manager ornament, your country’s flag and ornaments representing relatives (God, Country and Family). The beaded Santa and reindeer ornament was made by my Colorado sister and the square ornament with the big fish was Parker’s art work baked into ceramic. More to come…. Leftover chili for dinner and now time for pie and to bed. Thanks for dropping by. We are holding our breath; Parker and Mack were both exposed to COVID at school. Hopefully, they have natural immunity since they both had it earlier in the year. The virus is everywhere - again!! Stay safe.
