Happy Birthday

Sunny but chilly, high of 49 deg F. Will be below freezing tonight. Another day of sleeping in a bit. Today and tomorrow are designated cleaning/decorating days. I made a big dent in the task. Hubby took our trash and recycling to the convenience center, picked up Sky from driving class and grabbed our meds from the base pharmacy. We had to quit early today to celebrate Brookie’s 11th birthday. Her parents made a spectacular filet mignon meal and homemade ice cream cake. Each person in their family gets to specify their birthday menu. I planned to take a family photo at the table for my blip but forgot. So, Brookie and her Dad decided to act silly as my back up shot. That is not her wine. Hubby had to leave early to participate in a Knight’s activity. Hopefully, I will be finished by tomorrow at 5:15 because we are taking our mother out to a movie and dinner. They are showing “Christmas With the Chosen, The Messengers”. Wednesday and Thursday will be my baking and family celebration prep days. The kids decided to order Oriental food for our Christmas Eve meal: lumpia, pancit, shrimp fried rice and my sister will make slaw. Easy, minimal mess. So the week is completely planned with not much wiggle room. Bet yours is as well. Thanks for the visit. Omicron is in our county, yours too probably.
