Teamwork
We got the word that our last gift could be picked up. Hubby brought the boxes of decorations and Christmas trees down from our attic room and set them up. Then he headed out to get the gift, my meds and the rest of our lunch food. I drove to Kristen’s and picked up Mack and her cousin Liana. Mancil and Brooklyn arrived soon after we got home. Parker wanted to help but his sister was sick and his mom did not want to risk spreading germs. Thankfully she tested negative for COVID and flu so she probably has the respiratory virus all three of my children has suffered with the last couple weeks. Sky was at a friend’s house and Chase had doggie duty. But the four who were here did a fantastic job. Hubby finished assembling my e-bike. I helped Mancil with the Rec room tree and the girls decorated the one in the formal living room. I may add a few more special ornaments to that one but am way too tired this afternoon. I was awake until 1:30 am reading. Mancil and Brook had lunch plans so I made chicken tenders, etc for the remaining crew. Leftovers for dinner so I can rest this evening. Thanks for the visit. Stay safe and healthy. Wishing you a week full of family, friends and good cheer.
