Gibbous winter moon
Lovely clear cold night, so took a shot of the moon with a telephoto. The Sea of Serenity and the Sea of Tranquility are the large dark blobs making a figure of eight, slightly to the right of the vertical mid-line. The prominent crater near the terminator on the left, just above the vertical mid-line and with a spot in the middle, is named after Copernicus and the flat crater near the top, that looks like a smooth disc, is named after Plato.
