Dublin Winter Lights

Dublin Winter Lights is an initiative by the city council to brighten up the dark winter evenings by lighting up a number or of civic buildings between the 14th of November and the 1st of January. 21 locations around the city are lit up and today's blip is the City Hall, originally built as a financial centre at the end of the 18th century and formerly known as the Royal Exchange.

I risked life and limb to get this picture, waiting till the traffic lights were red and the traffic was stopped, then dashing into the middle of the road to snap the blip and  leaping back to the safety of the pavement before the traffic started moving again.
