Strictly Saturday

One of the shops in the village looking rather festive.
We went to The Christmas Solstice market at Barnoldswick, only stayed an hour after staying away from the crowds and got the bus back to Skipton. We had a light lunch at Elsworth Kitchen : slightly spiced parsnip and pear soup, sprinkled with toasted pumpkin seeds;  home made bread to go with it and a glass of red,.
Then a flat white and we shared a Yorkshire curd tart, yum.
Bus back to Ilkley then another back home.
The fog that had been hanging around all day was quite thick as we came over high ground, pleased it wasn’t me that was driving.
Now in our PJ’s , l’ve prepared dinner which we are going to squeeze in before the Strictly final.
Heartbroken for AJ and Kai who unable to take part through injury but looking forward to the final two ours of what has been an outstanding series.
Expect Rose to win but would be happy however the result goes.
The best three couples made it to the final, all winners in my eyes.
