Planning and Preparation

If you knew my son Tim you would probably comment on how thorough he is when he is interested in something. He make sourdough and treats it as a science. We are putting in our requests for when l come to stay leading up to New Year. ( cranberry and walnut from me).

We like a cocktail and we were just deciding which new ones we would like to sample so we can work out what ingredients to buy this week, when an item came on TV about cocktails.
It so it seemed a good opportunity to take a photograph as a couple of new bottles were in front of me…obviously not opened:-))

Was going to accompany Adele on a dog walk but it’s like sheet ice outside even and though a lot of the pavements are gritted l came straight back inside.
Thank goodness temperatures are going to shoot up tomorrow.

Just watched a film on Amazon ( l don’t have that at home) called The Man in the Hat. Absolutely loved it, one l could watch over and over.
Highly recommend if you like rural France.
Roast dinner to look to, just the ticket on such a miserable day outside.
